Today i did an usg due to indigestion or stomach pain issues, it showed small echogenic foslcus found of size 2.9mm with no obvious acoustics shadowing, s/o polyp. I am scared. I am just 25, why is this happening with me? I exercise regularly, i had some problem with digestion recently also. Can that have caused this? And which type of polyp is this? Cholesterol or something else? I am really scared of cancer. I have done cbc, lft and kft, all came fine within normal value. Only this polyp. GaStro surgeon saId to monitor it every year, but i am still worried that what if it will turn into cancer? Other organs in the usg are fine.. Please tell me how to reduce it? Does ayurveda help in this? What should I avoid? Please help me doctors, i am really scared and panicked.
