Hi I am 8 weeks pregnant, last week i did my blood test- and diagnosed with TSH 8.12Uiu/ml. My obstetrician prescribed me to take thyroxine 5mcg medicine tablet everyday without a miss. Unless she tells me to stop. But as I didn't have any symptoms of Hypothyroidism, day before Yesterday I again did my blood test through Thyrocare and my TSH came 4.2Uiu/ml. Please suggest me whether I should take medicine or not. Apart from thyroid tablet m having colic acid tablet.
