Hello doctor i am anemic my platelets are high 575000 ,three months ago it was 480000, I have attached my reports of iron studies cbc peripheral please have a look I m very tense it is any cancer sign??? I have deficiencies of vitamin b12 and vit d.

Hi    You can have reactive thrombocytosis(increase in platelet count) due to iron deficiency anemia which you are having at present Once it is corrected, your platelets may come into normal range. You need to worry if there is persistent elevation of platelet count even after correcting iron deficiency.
