Platelets count down

Dear Doctor, I ,at random, checked my blood and it has shown platelets count 120000 but i have no dengue nor any viral fever. Kindly guide

Since you have got your platelets checked "At Random" and you have no other complaints or any other symptoms indicatiing any infection, they are to be considered normal.

1, 20000 is not that low platelets. At times viral infection may stay asympyomatic or may have subsided already. Like an old infection. Please monitor platelets daily. Take tab caripill one daily for 5 days and look for any petechiae or bleeding, if present rush to hospital immediately.
