Planning for baby

Hi I am planning for baby. Last month I got my periods 6 days early (I got on 18 April 2016 But expected was 24 April 2016). This month I didn't got my periods still (today is 18th May). So should i go for pregnancy test or should I wait for few more days to confirm that. Please advice. Thanks
