1. Normally, if there is some temporary cause for pain, it should start getting relieved in one month.
2. There is a possibility of nerve compression in lower back region which may cause this type of radiating pain. You can get one MRI of lumbosacral spine to rule out the cause.
3. Costo problem and pins problem doesnt seem to be related. X ray won't show anything if there is a neurological cause involved.
4. Food intake is not directly linked to the pain. It may reduce the bloating sensation.
Next Steps
Start with hot fomentation, take analgesic and muscle relaxant tablet, continue vit
B12 for now. Get MRI of lumbosacral spine.
