My mother has had a white bump on her eyeball since 1 year. I think it is pinguecula. Is there a need to get it treated? How harmful is it? She says that she's facing minor irritation in her eye.

Its not harmful.  ....put eye drop refresh tears for eye irritation...consult sos

She can use eye drop teardrops 2-3 times a day for 2 weeks,  to reduce irritation.
