Pigmentation around neck can be due to many causes like sunlight, acanthosis nigricans, overweight and many other factors

This could be acanthosis nigdi and which can be seen with high sugar levels and weight gain.lifestyle changes are recommended to reduce this along with medications prescribed by a dermatologist
