Phlegm does not go away causing head ach

I had cold and fever.first it started with ear itching and then cold ,slight throat itching. usually whenever I consult doctors,they give azithromycin and Dolo,my fever goes away but nose block  /head ache remains as it is. now i don't have fever but why phlegm does not go away and causing me head ache and nose block.is there any good medicine other than Azithromycin?

The duration of symptoms ( when did the cold occur, does it occur repeatedly ) , how many times antibiotic course have been taken, site of headache , color of phlegm etc needed to offer treatment. It maybe rhinosinusitis ( inflamed sinuses) requiring proper treatment
