Phimosis problem

I think i suffer with phimosis. I had consulted a doctor once. On diagnosis it was mentioned as "Slow contraction and Retraction of foreskin". I am able to contract my foreskin over my glands when penis is not erect, however the unable to move my foreskin over glands when penis is fully erect. Please advise if this will cause me problems in future during intercourse. Currently i dont have any problems in daily activities.
