Hello Phelgm in throat occurs due to sinus issues. Nothing to worry start doing steam inhalation twice a day for a week. That will clear the phelgm. Also do warm water gargling. If still the problem persists than you will have to get an x ray of sinus to confirm the pathology in sinuses. If so than will require a course of broad spectrum antibiotics . Take care
