Pexcep ( generic name- paroxetine) is an SSRI and like all SSRI can cause weight gain, increase in cholesterol, blood sugar, decreased electrolytes,  etc and should be discussed with doctor.

Pexep is an antidepressant medicine. It's most prominent side effect is drowsiness.
