The only treatment of Pterygium is surgery. Depending on the size of Pterygium, u can get it done now or wait. For itching and redness lubricant would work but without operation, the problem would keep coming back .

Hi ..I happen to be a madam, hope that's ok.. As far as we know, ther is no way for the pterygium to disappear without surgery. The decision to do surgery is based on certain factors ...like growth, recurrent redness or cosmetic etc..you can take a call with your doctor about that. For itching ... Use sunglasses outdoors.. And a course of antibiotic plus steroid drops will help...but that u take under doctors supervision.
