Persistent dry cough

Suffering from dry cough with no mucus. Comes and goes every year. No fever. Chest pain is there. Have taken montas and some antibiotics but still the dry cough has not gone away. It has been 1 month

Take antitussives cough syrup containing dextromethorphan As it appears every year may be due to seasonal changes Get a pulmonary function test done to rule out asthma or other airway disease
