My partner’s LMP was on 12th November and her cycles are usually around 32 days but irregular. She has hypothyroidism and is on thyroxine 50 mcg daily, and in the past her periods have been delayed for several months. We had sexual intercourse on Nov 30–Dec 2, mostly with protection; on one occasion there was brief unprotected penetration without ejaculation, and on another day the condom slipped off after ejaculation but was removed shortly after. On Dec 6–8 we had protected sex only. She has had PMS-like symptoms such as lower abdominal cramps and mood swings, but her periods have still not started. A urine pregnancy test was done yesterday and it was negative.
