My period started on Saturday and is still going on and the blood seems to be a brighter red. Is that okay?

If you feel there has been some changes in your menstrual pattern and you hv been sexually active do a urine pregnancy test to rule out pregnancy. If the bleeding s not heavy nothing more to be done. Observe the pattern for next few months
