Hello there. I can understand your concern. It can be treated medically also. Since when do you have this abscess? Have you taken any medical line of treatment before? It can be treated medically but if it doesn't resolve by just medicines, or keeps recurring then surgical option is the only way. Medical line if treatment includes, antibiotics and sitz baths.
