Peptic ulcer and fasting in Ramadan

I was suffering from peptic ulcer disease and then gerd past 4 months later how can i fast now in the month of Ramadan after 1day of fasting my throat was irritated so i left fasting then after that my stomach was hurting by past 2days ...now the question is can I fast

Hello, happy ramadan. Fasting with peptic ulcer disease with GERD is tough task. One day of fasting causing so much, it will increase more. you can take antacids and try later on. if symptoms recur, its better to discontinue the fasting.
