My daughter received pentavalent vaccine dose - 2 last Wednesday. After vaccination, we were told to hold the injected site with cotton and with some pressure. But I think I pressed it for a long time with more pressure. Now the injected site has a lump and light redness. She got only very mild fever after the vaccine compared to dose -1 which was given last month. Whether vaccine would have properly spread into the body since I have given some more pressure on the injected site? Or else is there anything serious I need to worry.

No this is quite common and expected after pentavalent vaccine. Nothing to worry. The vaccine is effective and spreads all over the body. The lump will take 2 to 3 weeks to go. Please visit a pediatrician for check up. May need treatment. Give paracetamol
