Does partial tear of acl can be treated without surgery? How long it will take for the knees to back to normalcy?

ACL tears are relatively painless so the main symptom to consider is instability when walking fast r running. Partial acl tears can be managed without surgery provided you do not have instability or an associated meniscal injury. In such cases with instability r associated meniscal injury its better to get an arthroscopic acl reconstruction considering your age.

Symptoms of instability, pain and other associated injuries in the same knee have to be assesed and then if it is purely mild pain with partial tear then 6 sessions of PRP injections tried. May take 6 months to heal
