I have a broken ankle and I had surgery, they put plates and screws. Whenever my ankle is elevated or resting on a Bed, it doesn't pain that much but whenever it's hanging down or whenever I am walking it hurts a lot. Is it normal or ???

It's normal for initial 3-6 weeks. Then pain and swelling should come down.
