My mother is suffering from severe pain across chest and upper back bone area. Pain is like pinching with pin from inside. We thought it is due to gastric pain. But resembles different. Please suggest.

Hello dear patient pain in chest radiating to back can be due to lung pathology or due to pancreatitis. Also cardiac disease need to be ruled out. Taking medication for gastritis is simple thing, if that's not helpful then other causes should be ruled out. Get an ecg, chest xray PA view and an usg abdomen to rule out pancreatitis. Follow up with me with the reports.
