My dad is admitted im blk hospital from past two weeks .. they were not able to diagnose the problem now they have reached a decision of surgery for osteomylelitis ...

Hello well it would have been better if you had shared the symptoms of your fatheror the reports as we cannot deduce anything with what you have shared..I would suggest you to talk to the orthopaedician and then Go ahead with the surgery..Thank you.. Osteomyelitis is the infection of the bone which if left will turn chronic and also weaken the bone completely

We would recommend that you send the MRI reports of your father if it is done and the x rays . Osteomyelitis is easily picked up by these investigations
