I was picking my left ear to try to remove the wax from my ear. The next day my ear started paining and it's still continuing to pain. I feel that there is also alot of wax in my ear, so what should I do ?

Its is due to infection in the external auditory canal which probably happened on the abrasion u caused by picking your ear. One should never put anything in his or her ear be it an ear bud, matchstick or anything else to remove wax or to scratch. I advise you to keep your ear absolutely dry. Dont allow even a drop if water in your ear. Take tablet augmentin 625 mg twice a day. Tablet zerodol sp when there is pain. Dont put any drops till the time the pain is resolved. Wax drops will lead to increase in the pain.
