I am having a needle like pain in the left side of chest frequently. It is for a second or so and coming in a frequent manner for the past two days

Left side chest pain causes concern, more so about heart related pain. The pain of heart attack generally is located centrally. Besides at your age it's less common.

Get an ECG done. And to be more sure, go for a treadmill test, Bruce Protocol.
