Taking into consideration your age and the position of tooth, there can be two possible reasons - 1. Partially impacted third molar - meaning a wisdom tooth is blocked under the soft tissue and bone . Erupting third molars (wisdom teeth coming out) are usually painful. Also on biting , the soft tissue falls between the teeth, gets hurt, starts paining. Maybe an infection has also set in - can be either in the tissue or both soft tissue and teeth. 2. Completely Erupted third/second molar - has grossly decayed or fractured.

Immmediately take warm saline water rinses. Dissolve ketorol dt in one fourth glass of water and consult dentist immediately

Please consult dentist ASAP. You can take any known pain killer that u have taken before for now. The dentist on examination will tell u whether to go for extraction or RCT, but you will have to take a course of antibiotics as right now the tooth is infected

Your tooth is infected.. get an X-ray done start medication.. stick to soft diet

Please get a check up done. If it is the wisdom tooth it may require removal. If it is the second molar it may require root canal treatment.
