First a good history of your pain needs to be taken regarding how it started , what was the mechanism of injury ,etc..Only then a good plan can be made depending on what could b done best .. please consult a physiotherapist close by you.

you can apply ice or wear a crepe bandage for preventing overstrain. since the pain is in certain angel or certain movements it would help restrict the painful movement.
