Hello... As you have knee ligaments injury there is no chance of healing by self. You can go for reconstruction surgery if only if your work is strenuous or you are feeling instability in your knee joint. For the pain in back muscles of your thigh i.e. hamstring muscle, you need to do stretching exercises of hamstring and calf muscles, will definitely relieve your pain. Also do strengthening exercise for front thigh muscle i.e. quadriceps muscle. One of the exercise for quads strengthening is half squatting exercise with wall support. This exercise will help you most to gain pain relief and pain-free movement. Consult to your physiotherapist for better understanding of these exercises. I too have met an accident having PCL torn and only these exercises helped me the most.
