Pain in right foot

From last 1-2 months, I am having pain in my right foot only. It pains more when I wear canvas shoes. Please advice. Do I need to visit doctor or should I buy new pair of shoes?

Even if there is no history of injury long standing foot pain definitely requires assessment by an orthopaedic surgeon as it may be result of multiple causes like inflammatory conditions, plantar fasctis, gout which have to be ruled out.
