Hello, last night during sleep I was biting the inside of my cheek and when I woke up it was bright red. Now in the evening of the day it has turned white. I have also noticed a consistent pain in my jaw and trouble swallowing. What is this and what should i do?

You seem to have developed ulceration of the cheek mucosa because of biting. Usually it is a painful condition which may last for few days before it heals. You may need to take painkillers for few days. Local antiseptic gel application may also be helpful
Next Steps
Consult nearby ENT specialist for confirmation of diagnosis and appropriate treatment if required
