Pain in lower throat

Mother is experiencing pain since 7 days on lower part of throat near chest area on touching,sneezing,coughing,sometimes swallowing and certain movements like tilting head backward. Pain is weird from normal sore throat and feels as if outside. Pain intensity increases at night and decrea after waking up in morning. Suggest me diagnosis what can be problem? Laryngitis,pharyngitis, thyroidiitis, thyroid nodules,swollen lymph nodes or something else. Suggest diagnosis
