Severe pain in left hip near hip joint moving towards outer thigh unable to move stand or sit past 2 days

This is spasm of your muscles on the outer side of hip, the glutes. Probably due to your single leg crossed sitting habits. This habit makes the muscle vulnerable especially when you get up from lower heights or engage in stairs.
Next Steps
sit properly

This could be sciatica or sacroiliac joint strain . Start with hot fomentation , ointment , antiinflammatory medicines . Clinical examination will be needed.

It can be sciatica because the nerves arise in the spine and it passes through the hip into the thigh and to the cough so I think it needs to be evaluated for either a lumbar spine problem or a sacroiliac joint problem

How did the pain started. Was there any injury or jerk.. Is there any swelling around hip region. Do you have any difficulty in walking
Next Steps
I would suggest you to take complete rest for now. Start with analgesic, hot fomentation, limb elevation. Plan to get one x ray of Pelvis with Both Hips AP view for ruling out any bony pathology.
Health Tips
Continue ankle and toe movements while taking rest. Avoid heavy work.
