As per your symptoms... you r having problem with your wrist tunnel..onset is slow and gradual ...
My opinion is you got carpal tunnel syndrome ....

Exercises like
1)fist to stop,
2)fist to fan,
3)thumb touch (making 'O' shape),
4) wrist bending exercises etc...

use some wrist resting splint(night)...for carpal tunnel...
