Hi... As per your symptoms... you r having problem with your wrist tunnel..onset is slow and gradual ... My opinion is you got carpal tunnel syndrome .... Ice 3-5min,hand  shake it out  relive the symptoms.. Ultrasound therapy and some basic stretching will help you Exercises like 1)fist to stop, 2)fist to fan, 3)thumb touch (making 'O' shape), 4) wrist bending exercises etc... And with the help of physiotherapy Such as nerve and tendon gliding can be done...then grip strengthening can be given Mam
Next Steps
use some wrist resting splint(night)...for carpal tunnel... avoid only finger grip movements.
Health Tips
wrist splint and rest. pain...shake and apply ice massage.. check for thyroid  if you have family history or obese..
