Based on your symptoms there are two possibilities . one there is infection in your gums which is causing the pain . two one or more teeth are carious and the decay is touching the pulp causing the pain to radiate to the ear and head. either condition needs to be examined and treated.

It really depends on where the pain is emanating from, it could be 3 possibilities: 1. you may have eaten something which has got stuck between 2 teeth and injured the interdental gum. 2. You have a hidden cavity which is touching the nerve of the tooth or 3. Gum infection involving all the gums.
