My mother,46, had suffered a fracture in the proximal phalange of middle toe in Oct 2018. It had healed but she feels pain whenever she puts pressure on that foot. What should we do?

What treatment did she take for the fracture? Was there any skin wound along with the fracture? Was she advised surgery by any chance?
