Pain in cheek bone
I visited a dentist to do dental filling in two teeth, one on the left lower extreme end and another in the right upper extreme end. However, after 3-4 days, I found a dull heaviness and pain while opening or closing my mouth in the cheek bone area, where the jaws intersect. Is it a normal side effect of dental filling? Your opinion or advice on this, will be greatly appreciated.

The pain that you're having might be due to prolonged and wide mouth opening during the procedure. It mainly happens when your cheek muscle goes into a spasm. You can try massaging the area at the angle of your jaw with your thumb slowly so that the tension gets relieved. Hydrate and take some electrolytes.

It's a muscle spasm and it's common.
As you have kept your mouth open for longer duration and wider your experiencing pain and discomfort.As Normally you don't keep ur mouth wider and open for longer duration.
There is nothing to worry about,it will resolve by itself.
