The history you are giving is suggestive of 'trigeminal neuralgia'
This happens when the trigeminal nerve's blood supplying artery gets compressed. Trigeminal nerve supplies facial muscles and this happens in its course.
For this first treatment by medicine is recommended, most effective medicine is carbamazepine.
In case if she doesn't respond to medicine then surgical decompression has to be attempted.
