I have pain in back joint above waist, I had same problem some time ago. May be due to uric acid. I had some high protein diet in last week.

Get serum uric acid levels tested. There are many other causes of back pain .take some rest and nsaid with muscle relaxant (if not contraindicated ). If not releived get a orthopedic consultation.
