Pain below chest and above stomach

Its been 2 weeks that i am having problem with my stomach. Either i have pain in stomach or below chest. And wen ever i get pain its worst. I consulted doctor amd was given pan with bascogust injection with pain killer tablets but i am still having pain. Please let me know the reason for this and what can be done. From few months i am not feeling liking eating and i hardly sleep for 4-5 hours
