Pain at fracture site

I suffered a right tibia fracture on 19-9-23, which is being treated conservatively by slab and  cast plaster was given on 30-9-23. is it normal to have pain at fracture site sometimes, sometimes i feel migrating pain in my leg, sometimes at fracture site too. is it normal.

If the plaster cast is very loose  you may get pain. Kindly visit the surgeon who plaster cast.

Get xray done at 6 weeks and see the position of fracture , if uniting then continue . Better not to start weight bearing before 10 weeks .

Fracture needs surgery at the time of injury. Since is nearly 45 days.Kindly rpt the xray and consult orthopaedic surgeon .

Yes, it is normal to have pain at fracture site. As I am seeing your fracture is in process of union. Tenderness will be resolved once fracture fully united. It takes 3 months from trauma.

Keep immobile the ankle in cast.
