I had to fill MTA in my teeth after root canal. My gums are paining and seems swollen. Is it normal or it is something to worry about

It is not normal for severe pain and swelling of gums after root canal treatment. If the pain is mild and controlled with medication it may subside, but if the pain is severe it is better to show it to your dentist at earliest to open the dressing.
