Pain and redness in the left eye

From about a week or so there is pain and redness in the left eye. I have met a doctor and done its course of eye drops but it is still not going better from previous time but there is still some discomfort and redness and pain in the left eye... Please suggest some useful thing to do to correct it

Pl have vision test and slitlamp eye examination. Complete eye examination has to be done. Pl consult ophthalmologist for further evaluation and treatment.
