Paediatric , vaccination side effects
My daughter get her dpt, opv and MMR vaccination yesterday. After 3 4 hours she can't able to walk due to pain in one leg. She has also got fever. Today evening she is walking but very very slowly and she is having pain in the leg.what can I do
These are usual side effects of DPT vaccine which must be informed to all parents before vaccination by doctor.
Generally cold sponging after vaccination and giving paracetamol syp as recommended by your doctor as per age and weight of your child is enough. Generally they subside by 48 hours and child becomes active
