He has done several hearing test before but didn't get to know about the real problem.. also operated 7 months back but results were v disappointing. kindly tell what is the percentage of success of stapedectomy as his condition is declining day by day.

Without seeing the pre operative and post operative audiometry and tympanometry reports it is difficult to suggest any treatment. The success rate of stapedectomy in good hands is around 90 to 95%.
