  4. Osteophyte. Cervical spondylosis?

As per Mri report, osteophyte is present at c6 but doctor or physiotherapist have not yet confirmed it. Is it that presence of osteophyte confirms cervical spondylosis? as the impression in report says cervical spondylosis. I have nerve pinch , inflammation in palms, arms, severe left shoulder pain.

Hello.. Osteophyte suggests the wearing out condition or the degeneration of the cartilage..it's nothing but bony projections....well your symptoms can ve correlated with the findings...do not worry..go to an orthopaedician he will suggest you some medications to reduce the neural symptoms and cervical collar of required.. Physiotherapy will help...thank you
