I have been dealing with Candida since many years now. I recently I got to know that I have this problem. It causes halitosis too. It's highly unlikely for a healthy 22 year old to have severe candidiasis .Taking steroids, using steroid inhalers or chronic intake of antibiotics could be possible reasons for candidiasis . And also immune compromised states like severe diabetes or HIV could also result in the condition . Else it's highly unlikely for healthy person to have severe. candidiasis. So please get checked for the above conditions too .
