Dear Practo User,
Based on your symptoms and the photo, this appears to be a recurrent ulcer or infected skin lesion in the pubic hair area. Common causes include an infected hair follicle (folliculitis/boil), an inflamed sebaceous cyst, or less commonly certain skin infections. A proper physical examination is needed to confirm the diagnosis.
What you should do
* Consult a Sexologist or Dermatologist for an examination.
* Keep the area clean and dry; wash gently with water and dry carefully.
* Avoid squeezing, scratching, or shaving over the affected area.
* Since it has recurred and is now larger with watery discharge, you may need prescription treatment after evaluation.
Seek urgent medical care if:
* The swelling becomes very painful or rapidly increases in size.
* You develop fever, pus with a foul smell, or spreading redness.
Your history of no unprotected sexual exposure in the past 2–3 months makes some sexually transmitted infections less likely, but it does not rule out all skin conditions. An in-person examination is the best next step.
