Nystagmus directly related with development  of brain,eye movements are directly controlled by brain,during pregnancy due to some reasons that portion of brain has not developed which controls ocular movements, ophthmologist has got no much role to play in nystagmus except doing refraction&prescribe  eyeglasses if any,please consult neurologist (D M Neurology)
