Your symptoms are suggestive of carpal tunnel syndrome. That means that a nerve called the median nerve is getting compressed at your wrist causing your symptoms. First diagnosis is made by doing nerve conduction studies. Other tests like thyroid hormone, growth hormone levels, blood sugar levels and other basic tests are also done. Multiple treatment options are available ranging from simple physiotherapy, or a short course of oral steroids with pain killers and intra lesional steroid injections. If they don't provide relief then surgery is recommended. It is a minor procedure and takes 10 min. I would also advise you to avoid using your bike or the computer mouse for long periods . Consult your general physician
