Hi All, This is a continuation of my previous question. I have been feeling numbness for 2.5 months  and pain in my both legs below knee , it started with the left one initially and also my lower back hurts a lot. I Had anxiety disorder too, Initially I thought the numbness and leg pain was because my anxiety symptoms are coming back as i coped up well and my doc stopped my medicine last month only. However, the numbers and pain started before my medicine was stopped. Numbness and pins tingling in feet and pain in legs is never like before in my 4 years of anxiety I never felt this persist. I was advised to take neuro advice and doc asked for an MRI of LS spine. I am attaching my report, it has some minimal observation, L4 L5 and in L5 S1. Ism prescribed with medicine Flexon D, MyGaba 100 ( Gapapin) & Maxspam 450 Please check and advise if this is the correct course for my above symptoms or am I missing something to get diagnosed,my anxiety is coming back badly due to all these.

Hi Thanks for reaching out. Consult a doctor to rule out physical health issues. You can go to a well established hospital and get tests done to rule out physical health issues. Also consult a psychologist to manage anxiety and feel calm. Try to not worry too much. Consult a doctor and explain about symptoms and consult a psychologist for counselling sessions. A psychologist will guide you on how you can manage anxiety and feel calm.

Hi, The prescribed medications seem appropriate for your symptoms, addressing both pain and anxiety. Follow up regularly with your doctor - neurologist and consider physical therapy to strengthen your back and improve flexibility to aid your recovery. Talk to your doctor regarding adjusting your anxiety medication . A psychologist can help you to manage your anxiety alongside medication with therapy such as like cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness or relaxation techniques , these are known to be helpful.

Hi, First I am not the right person to comment on the medication course of the individual for that you can take the second opinion from the another neurologist. Remember, It's important to follow your doctor's advice and take the medication as prescribed. However, if you feel that your symptoms are not improving or worsening, it would be best to follow up with your neurologist for further evaluation and potentially additional tests or treatments. In the meantime, it's important to take care of your mental health as well, especially with your anxiety coming back. Consider seeking support from a therapist or counselor to help cope with your anxiety symptoms.

Hello, I can understand that the numbness in the legs is a cause of concern so please consult an orthopedic doctor and also check with the doctor if you need any physiotherapy. Please understand that you need to see a psychologist also although for now you need to take care of your physical health first and observe your anxiety symptoms simultaneously.
Next Steps
Please try writing your thoughts in a diary so that if you are overthinking it may help you calm down.
Health Tips
Try deep breathing techniques which will help as a relaxation strategy.

Hi, your anxiety is caused by your physical condition of numbness felt below the knee. So first attend your medical condition by following the advice of your neurologist. In addition, please also consult a cardiologist to check if the numbness is due to peripheral artery disease (PAD). Further consult a counsellor/psychologist who is a CBT practitioner to address the issue of anxiety.
Next Steps
consult a cardiologist.
Health Tips
Dont procrastinate!
